Receiving NOAA Satellites on MACOS

Mandatory have macport installed

Required software:

install gpredict

install gnuradio with RTL-SDR support

install Audacity

install wxtoimg

Use gpredict with updated satellites data to check AOS time

Use gqrx to receive satellite signal

When signal starts appearing record it with gqrx as shown on the above image

After recording load recorder file with audacity

Use:

Track -> Stereo to Mono

Effect -> normalise

Set new project sampling rate to 11025 and use

Track -> Resample

Save you clean file

After that read file with wxtoimg (play with parameter to tune image decoding option)
